SSSTS Construction Supervisor Must have SSSTS & CSCS Card

Position: SSSTS Supervisor

12 Hour Days Shifts – 4 on 4 off shift pattern rota (Average 42 hours per week)

£15.50 per hour  

Location: Birmingham City Hospital 
Reports To: Construction Manager

Role Overview:

The Security Supervisor will play a vital role in the protection of our client’s site, assets, personnel, and contractors, which are the key priorities of the security provider. They are required to project a security presence which is both commanding and authoritative whilst remaining calm and professional at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

The Supervisor will promote teamwork at all times, with commitment to the provision of an efficient and effective customer focused service. 

• Provide project direction, focus and consistency across the team & project as directed by the Construction Manager
• Supervision of the Site Team in all areas.
• Undertake training to use the Delivery Management System 
• You will also manage the Access Control system and conduct staff and contractor inductions
• Liaise with vehicle drivers arriving on the main construction site and checking all details are correct. 
• All duties are to be conducted with Health and Safety at the forefront of any task and in full compliance with the Assignment Instructions and Site Guidance Procedures.
• Escalate any issue of concern/potential concern to the Project managers as required to ensure a pro-active approach is maintained and service delivery is not impacted.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant CSCS Card 
• Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)  
• First Aid at Work   
• SIA Door Supervisor Badge 

Working Conditions:

• Occasional extended hours work based on project timelines.
