Job Description:
We have exciting opportunities in a range of bars, pubs and clubs for candidates who have experience working within the Hospitality sector.
We are keen to speak with SIA licenced Door Supervisors in and around the KING'S LYNN area, at our established venue Ffolkes who want regular work, in established venues, earning competitive rates of pay.
Pay DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.
Ideal candidates will be professional, take a pride in their appearance and have good customer service skills enabling them to interact with a range of clients and customers.
Job Specification:
- This is a part-time role.
- Regular work Friday and Saturday evenings
- It will be between 10-15 hours per week.
- Shifts are usually between 5-7 hours.
- It is a PAYE position – NOT CASH IN HAND
- Check location of job role and if transportation is needed (you will need to organise this yourself to get to the shift)
Candidates Duties Include:
- Greet and screen customers at the entrance, ensuring only permitted individuals gain access.
- Monitor and manage the behaviour of patrons to prevent disturbances or safety issues
- Carry out ID checks in compliance with licensing laws
- Patrol the venue to ensure a secure environment
- Diffuse conflicts and handle incidents in a calm and professional manner
- Escort individuals off the premises when necessary
- Write accurate incident reports and maintain logbooks
- Assist with emergency procedures, such as evacuations or first aid if required
- Enforce dress codes, entry policies, and intoxication rules as per venue guidelines
The Christmas Parties are door hosting with a few extra responsibilities:
- Blend into the background/proactively deal with issues as managers are busy
- Regular toilet checks & full sweep at the end (toilets especially as someone was found in the morning at their most recent event)
- Stop customers stealing the candles as they leave
The NYE shift is similar:
- ID checks as it's a family event and they've had challenges with underage
- Small live band so are operating bag checks to prevent BYOB
- Regular toilet checks etc etc.
Applicants Must:
- Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Previous experience in security or crowd management preferred
- Strong communication skills and conflict-resolution skills
- Professional appearance and demeanour
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
