Bold Security are now recruiting for Corporate Security Officers for a defence establishment in the Crawley area. There are multiple corporate positions to be filled. The required shift patterns will be days, nights and weekends.

Overtime opportunities available.

Duties involved (not an exhaustive list):

• Access and Egress control
• Controlling vehicular and pedestrian access and exit to/from site.
• External and Internal Patrolling on foot
• Reporting environmental issues
• Checking Identity badges on site
• Reporting safety hazards and accidents in accordance with current instructions

Duties will increase as the role progresses.

Essential Criteria:

• Valid SIA Licence
• SC or DV Clearance Eligible
• Strong communication skills
• Smart appearance
• Driving Licence

For meaningful checks to be carried out, individuals need to have lived in the UK for a sufficient period to enable appropriate checks to be carried out and produce a result which provides the required level of assurance. Security clearance is desirable for the role however this can be applied for upon successful interview procedure. You need to have been a resident in the United Kingdom for the 5 years for SC clearance. Further criteria outlined here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels/national-security-vetting-clearance-levels

People working with government assets must complete basic personnel security standard checks.
