Description
Job Title: Front of House Corporate Receptionist
Location: Manchester Royal Exchange M2
Pay rate: £12.50
Monday to Friday 8.00 am till 5.00 pm (1 hour unpaid dinner break) - 40 hours per week
Reports To: Building Manager.
Job Summary: We are seeking a professional and personable Front of House Corporate Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our company, providing exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and Welcoming: Warmly greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees upon arrival at the Manchester Royal Exchange.
- Visitor Management: Maintain a visitor log, issue visitor badges, and ensure all visitors are directed to the appropriate person or meeting room.
- Telephone Management: Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
- Meeting Room Coordination: Schedule and prepare meeting rooms, ensuring they are clean, equipped, and ready for use.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative and clerical support, including data entry, photocopying, and filing.
- Office Maintenance: Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials (e.g., pens, forms, brochures).
- Customer Service: Address and resolve basic inquiries and complaints, escalating more complex issues to the building manager.
- Security: Monitor and manage access control to the reception area, ensuring the safety and security of the reception.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Customer service-oriented with a positive and friendly demeanour.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Working Conditions:
- Environment: Corporate setting with a professional dress code.
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional with an hours unpaid lunch, which means you can leave site for an hour
