MOBILE PATROL OFFICER

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

•  A professional SIA licensed security operative for a night mobile patrol officer role to work from our head office based on a 4 nights on/off contract.
   
• Mobile Patrol Officers will support a smooth running of VIP Security Services. You are expected to be at the front of everything we do and represent the company and our customers in a professional manner.
  
   
• You must be enthusiastic, flexible, forward-thinking, able to independently handle a wide range of situations and tasks, have excellent customer service skills and happy to work independently as this role will require you to be travelling on your own for 12 hour shifts each evening.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off – 12 hour Night driving shifts 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Using a company vehicle to travel between sites across Essex and London whilst also responding to alarm call-outs
• Locking and unlocking premises
• Setting and un-setting alarms 
• Monitoring check call system
• Patrolling internal/external private and residential premises and roads
• Regular vehicle checks
• Responsible for maintaining the upkeep of the patrol vehicle whilst on duty

• You will be required to maintain detailed incident reports and security logs during each shift
• Report any Health & Safety issues on site or any other hazards
• To record all incidents and Occurrences on the relevant log sheets/books
• To carry out any other reasonable duties required
• Be willing to cover sickness/holiday as required

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• You must hold a valid SIA Licence
• Driving Licence and own transport is essential
• No more than 3 points on your licence
• Be able to use a Sat-Nav
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Available to work weekends and on various shift patterns
• Reliable and punctual
• Be friendly, polite but assertive whilst being professional and able to make decisions
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours & to work well with a team
• Full 5 year checkable employment history
• The right to remain and work in UK (copy of your visa/permit will be required as evidence for non EU nationals)
