Aviation Security Offcer

 Job Overview

  An Aviation Security Officer screens all passengers and employees accessing the airport's protected zones minimizing the risk of threat to the airport.  

 Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Regular patrolling, checking calls and maintaining logs of any incidents
• Unlocking/locking of premises, alarm response, monitoring the CCTV system
•  Reacting to all emergencies taking appropriate action in respect of police, fire, and local authorities or otherwise
• Be vigilant of any suspicious activity, deal with it appropriately, and take reasonable action to reduce risks to persons and property

 Requirements

• You must be able to read, write and speak fluent English, whilst additional language skills are desirable but not compulsory
• The minimum age requirement is 18 years due to clearance registration 
• Teamwork is a big part of your role, so you need to be a team player
• You need to have effective communication skills to interact with teammates and people visiting the airport 
• Be a highly flexible individual and be ready to cover any all-shift patterns that can include early mornings through to late nights
