Experienced Door Supervisor (Bar/Nightlife) (Clapham)

Seeking a highly motivated and dedicated SIA Door Supervisor in the Clapham area.

We are looking for customer serviced focused highly experienced, professional SIA Licensed Door Supervisor to work at a busy Bar/Restaurant in Clapham. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent conflict management skills, and a thorough understanding of security protocols. 

This role is vital in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all patrons and staff. The position requires a professional with prior security experience. Candidates should be prepared to handle various security challenges with professionalism and confidence.

Job Duties:

• Facilitate the smooth running and operation of the venue.
• Control ingress and egress of the event and monitoring of exits.
• Ensure patrons have a positive experience in a safe environment.
• Observing the behavior of patrons in the venue and maintaining the venues code of practice.
• Ensure all licensing laws are upheld to prevent any criminal offences occurring.
• Assisting patrons and dealing with concerns.
• Dealing with patrons appropriately and safely with those who are causing offence, or potential danger to themselves or others .
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.
• Operate in complete compliance with the requirements set out by ourselves and the client.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

What we are looking for:

• Fluent English Speaker (articulate, ideally 1st language)
• Have at least 2 year experience working within the security industry.
• Hold a valid SIA License.
• Friendly, Smart, Professional and Polite while remaining assertive.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent conflict resolution and communication skills.
• Must have the right to work in the UK
• Must be physically fit, alert, and capable of standing for extended periods during shifts. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated security team committed to ensuring safety while providing exceptional service at our venue.
• Must be able to work Friday & Saturday nights (But flexible availability as and when needed )
