Description
We’re Hiring: Female Security Officer
Location: Edinburgh, UK
Pay: £12.60 per hour + Performance linked annual bonus
Hours: 12hrs shift - 42 hrs week average - (4 on 4 off) Day shift only

Job Description
Responsibilities
You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:
- Active Patrols: Regularly patrol designated areas to detect and deter suspicious activity. Your vigilance will ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone
- Thorough Searches: Conduct detailed searches, following our comprehensive company policies and procedures. Your meticulous attention to detail will help keep our restricted areas safe
- Detailed Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork related to security incidents and observations
- Effective Communication: Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors and various external authorities to report incidents and coordinate responses to security issues
- Exceptional Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and guests with professionalism and courtesy

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:
- If you already hold a valid SIA licence, that is great. But don’t worry if not because we will take you through the training to achieve this
- The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year history including education and/or employment
- Utilise your strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, and demonstrate proficiency in both written and verbal English
- Your friendly and professional approach will create a welcoming atmosphere to provide top-notch customer service, ensuring employees, visitors, and guests feel safe and supported
