Pay: £13.00 to £16.25 per hour, depending on experience and whether holiday pay is accrued or included

Role Overview

As a Door Supervisor, you will play an essential role in ensuring the safety and security of customers, staff and premises in Bournemouths lively nightlife venues. You will manage entry, carry out ID checks and searches, and help maintain a professional and welcoming environment.

You will represent both our company and the venues we protect, so professionalism, confidence and strong communication skills are key.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage entry and exit points, ensuring only authorised guests enter
• Carry out ID checks and searches when required
• Maintain a professional, visible presence to deter antisocial behaviour
• Respond calmly and appropriately to incidents or conflicts
• Record incidents accurately and complete required reports
• Communicate effectively with venue management and local authorities
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times

Requirements

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential)
• Previous experience working in licensed venues such as pubs, bars or nightclubs
• Excellent communication and conflict management skills
• Smart, professional appearance and reliability
• Availability to work evenings and weekends
