Position: Security Officer

Pay Rate: £12.82 per hour 

Hours: 48 hours per week 

Shift Pattern: Rolling Rota - Nights

Due to ongoing and continued success, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, passionate, and forward-thinking security officer to join our team at our site in Fareham. You should have good communication skills, look smart and have experience within the security industry.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Enforce access control policy using security devices
• Monitor cameras and access control systems 
• Maintain logs and records in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures 
• Deal with clients, employees, vendors, visitors and contractors in a professional manner
• Patrol assigned areas for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, and unauthorised persons 
• Respond to emergency and routine incidents 
• Clearly communicate all security issues, incidents 
• Maintain logs of incidents in well-written reports

Requirements 

• A valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor licence 
• 5-year checkable work history 
• Documents to prove the right to work in the UK 
• Previous Supervisory experience is desirable
• Polite and approachable 
• Computer literate (using Excel, emails etc.)
• Excellent communication skills
