Security Apprentice

We’re looking for individuals with no prior industry experience but a strong desire to protect people, property, and environments. Our Security Apprenticeship Programme is designed to help you learn while you earn, giving you the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to build a successful career in the security industry.

You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience across key areas such as risk assessment, incident response, and day-to-day security operations. This is more than just a job-it’s a pathway to becoming a future Security Leader with CIS Security Ltd!

Job Requirements:

• An interest in Security services and committed to achieving an SIA licence.
• Maths & English GCSEs grades A to C/ 9 to 4 / functionals skills or the equivalent
• Eager to learn and develop new skills on the job
• Comfortable using basic IT systems and good literacy skills
• Strong attention to detail and a practical hand on approach
• Ability to communicate effectively and be a team player
• Ability to be flexible and respond to the unexpected

Key Responsibilities:

• Work across a variety of sites and sectors, gaining diverse industry experience
• Working 12-hour shifts - days, nights & weekends
• Responsible for the basic security duties as well as shadowing and learning from our experienced employees
• Customer service - welcoming and greeting visitors
• Conduct internal and external patrols
• Excellent organisation skills with ability to work on own initiative
• Prevention of loss, fire, and damage to customers’ property
• Ability to work as part of a team and interact with others
• Flexible to meet the needs of the service
• Adaptable to change and new ways of working
• Providing feedback on your journey & any initiatives you may have
