We have exciting opportunities in the Clapham area across a range of established bars and clubs for an experienced Female Lead Door Supervisor with a strong background in the Night-Time Hospitality sector.

We are looking for a confident and professional individual who can lead a team of Door Supervisors, maintain high standards of venue security, and deliver excellent customer service while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the venue's security team during operational hours
• Manage customer entry and exit procedures in line with venue policies
• Screen customers for suitability and ensure compliance with licensing regulations
• Verify identification and conduct bag searches when required
• Ensure customers are not under the age of 21 or in possession of prohibited items, including drugs or weapons
• Monitor crowd behaviour and maintain effective crowd control measures
• Provide a visible and professional security presence throughout the venue
• Support and mentor Door Supervisors to ensure high standards of performance
• Handle incidents, conflicts, and emergencies calmly, professionally, and in accordance with company procedures
• Liaise with venue management, staff, emergency services, and local authorities when necessary
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for customers and staff
• Prevent theft, violence, anti-social behaviour, and other security-related incidents

Applicant Requirements

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
• Previous experience working as a Door Supervisor within bars, clubs, or late-night venues
• Experience supervising or leading security teams is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict-management abilities
• Reliable, confident, and able to remain calm under pressure
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Full right to work in the UK
