About the Role

As a Floating Security Officer, you will provide professional security cover across various corporate sites. You will represent Britplan Security Solutions and our clients to the highest standard, ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned sites
• Monitor access and egress points
• Manage visitor and contractor sign-in procedures
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
• Complete accurate reports and incident documentation
• Deliver outstanding customer service
• Support site teams during peak periods and staff absences
• Ensure compliance with all site-specific procedures and assignment instructions

Essential Requirements

✔ Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence
✔ Excellent communication and customer service skills
✔ Smart and professional appearance
✔ Strong report writing and IT skills
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work

Desirable

• First Aid at Work qualification
• Experience in corporate security environments
• Knowledge of health & safety procedures
• Experience working in high-profile commercial buildings
