Position: Security Operations Manager
Location: - St Helens (travel to various sites in the northwest)
Pay Rate: to be discussed further depending on experience
Hours: 50 hours per week

Job Purpose
The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management and control of the sites’ security operation.
Job Overview
As a Security Operations Manager, you will be in charge of the day-to-day management of the security team, and control room as well as ensuring professional training of all security staff. Maintain a high standard of performance ensuring both you and your team meet the highest level of professionalism.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of the security teams on various sites
- Identify and protect company assets through the development and implementation of security protocols
- Make sure that staff follow security procedures and guidelines through training programs and assessments
- Ensure the safety of staff and customers within the workplace
- Perform security process evaluations and inspections
- Prepare the organization and staff for external inspections
- Hire and train security staff
- Motivate and develop your team, leading and ensuring professional training of all security staff
Requirements
- A valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding
- The right to work in the UK either by a valid visa or right to work documentation
- At least 5 years of checkable work history
- 2 Years’ experience at the Management level
- Produce contractual security reports and manage staff roster
- First-class customer service and communication skills
- Presentable and reliable
- Ability to handle difficult, pressurised, and/or emergency situations
- Working knowledge of any required computer programs and security technology
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to monitor surveillance systems and respond to emergency situations
- Excellent team-building and leadership skills
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
