Salary: £13.00 per hour + Overtime Opportunities
Hours: Full-Time (Average 42 hours per week, 4 on 4 off, Days & Nights)
Reporting to: National Operations Director

About the Role:

DCS Group Ltd is seeking highly capable and experienced Security Officers to protect critical commercial infrastructure in Essex. This role requires individuals with a strong security mindset, the ability to work independently and within a multi-agency environment, and a commitment to professional security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mobile vehicle patrols and foot patrols across the site.
• Perform searches of vehicles and persons to detect and deter unauthorised activity.
• Oversee access control and prevent unauthorised entry from multiple site access points.
• Monitor and respond to security threats, incidents, and breaches.
• Maintain detailed security logs and write accurate incident reports.
• Liaise and work collaboratively with law enforcement and other agencies.
• Ensure all duties align with site security protocols and company procedures.

Essential Requirements:

• Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding/Door Supervisor/CCTV as applicable).
• Full UK Driving Licence (Manual) – Must be able to drive to site due to lack of public transport.
• Minimum 2 years of security industry experience with proven knowledge of patrolling and searching fundamentals.
• Ability to operate within a high-security, multi-agency environment.
• Physically fit – must be able to walk, run, and climb stairs while carrying light equipment such as torches and step ladders.

Desirable Candidates:
