Head Door Supervisor - Leeds

As the Head Door Supervisor, your primary role is to ensure the safety and security of the venue's clients and employees through effective management of the DS team. 

1-2 year experience working in pubs, bars and clubs is essential

Job Overview 

We are keen to speak with SIA licenced Door Supervisors in and around the LEEDS area, who want regular work, in pubs, bars and clubs earning competitive rates of pay. As the Head Door Supervisor, your primary role is to ensure the safety and security of the venue's clients and employees through effective management of the DS team. 

Ideal candidates will be professional, take a pride in their appearance and have good customer service skills enabling them to interact with a range of clients and customers

You will be managing a security team of experienced Door Supervisors making sure they carry out all tasks relating to the security of the venue, customers and employees. 

Rate Per Hr - £19 - £21

Job Specification: 

• This is a part-time role.
• 1-2 year experience working on the doors of pubs, bars and clubs is essential 
• Regular work Friday Saturday and Sunday evenings 
• Shifts are usually between 5-7 hours.
• It is a PAYE position – NOT CASH IN HAND
• Check location of job role and if transportation is needed (you will need to organise this yourself to get to the shift)

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for all other security personnel on duty 
• Staff positioning 
• Schedule staff rotas and completion of timesheets for all Door Supervisors
• Maintain order on the premises 
• Deal with and manage difficult conflict situations 
• Report and record details of incidents, searches and patrols 
• Ensure all security procedures and protocols are followed at all times 
• Crowd control 
• Ensure the safety and security of the venue, staff and visitors 
• Supervising customer arrivals and departures 
• Carrying out I.D checks 

Requirements 

• Must own a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence 
• Have at least 3 years experience of security work 
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Be physically fit and able to cope with the demands of the role. 
• Ability to lead and motivate security staff  
• Ability to act quickly and respond to emergency situations
