Concierge

Job Purpose 

Our current Concierge is away so we need cover for the next 3 weeks, working days will be Sundays with the occasional Saturdays in Canning town. The Concierge is a crucial role in working alongside the Building Management and Facilities Management teams in providing a legally compliant, safe, and customer-focused environment.

Job Overview 

As a Concierge, you will be the first person a visitor meets or speaks with on the phone. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and receive visitors in a polite and professional manner
• Issue visitor passes and ensure that visitors are signed in and out 
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and guests are directed appropriately 
• Respond promptly and professionally to incoming internal and external calls and emails 
• Liaise with the right department on fault reporting
• Maintain reports for incidents 

Requirements 

• A valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor Licence 
• Effective verbal and non-verbal communication 
• Good I.T skills and report writing 
• Presentable and professional 
• Friendly, approachable and professional 
• Good organisation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
