Security Concierge
We are seeking dedicated and professional Front Desk Concierges to join our team. These roles are pivotal in ensuring safety and security while delivering exceptional customer service tailored to diverse environments. Whether manning the front desk or safeguarding our residents, you’ll combine vigilance, professionalism, and a people-first approach to create safe and welcoming spaces.
This role - being the first point of contact for a PBSA Reception and Security service - delivering outstanding customer service to students, guests and management.

Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Duties: Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, and staff, ensuring smooth entry and exit processes and providing a welcoming, professional experience.
Access Control: Manage access points and ensure compliance with safety protocols to prevent risks or incidents.
Alarm Response: Respond promptly to activations of intruder, fire, personal attack, and equipment alarms, notifying relevant authorities and taking appropriate action.
Tailored Concierge Services: Provide customised solutions to meet the unique needs of clients. Ensure residents, staff, and visitors feel safe, supported, and valued.
Visible Assurance: Act as a trusted presence, managing situations with discretion, confidence, and respect.
Customer Service Excellence: Address inquiries, offer guidance, and create a positive experience for everyone you interact with, reflecting professionalism and empathy.
Supporting Safety Standards: Monitor environments to identify and resolve potential risks proactively, upholding a secure and supportive atmosphere.
What We’re Looking For:
To succeed in these roles, you should demonstrate:
- Attention to Detail: Proactively identify and address potential security concerns before they escalate.
- Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: Build trust and foster positive relationships with clients, visitors, and colleagues
- Professional Appearance: Maintain a polished, professional, and approachable demeanour.
- Strong Communication Skills: Proficiency in English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. and FLUENTLY - additional languages are an advantage
- Calmness Under Pressure: Handle challenging situations with composure and professionalism.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to achieve security goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid SIA Licence: Security Guarding or Door Supervisor. This is a mandatory legal requirement for the role. You must provide your License Number during the application process.
- Proactive Working Approach: Ability to take initiative and resolve security concerns swiftly.
- Alarm Response Experience: Familiarity with managing various alarm activations and following safety protocols.
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience in Customer Service is advantageous but not essential.
- So too working in a Hotel / PBSA environment
- Proven ability to remain decisive and professional during emergencies.
