Night Mobile Patrol Officer

Job Purpose 

To develop and maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and their property through visible, mobile patrols in designated residential areas.

Job Overview 

As a Mobile Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in delivering peace of mind to local residents. You will conduct nightly patrols across assigned residential zones in Southwest London, maintaining a consistent and visible presence to deter suspicious activity and ensure community safety. This is a flexible, rolling contract suited to individuals seeking regular or ad hoc night shifts.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct regular mobile patrols across outlined residential streets and estates.
• Remain actively present and vigilant throughout each shift, covering designated areas thoroughly.
• Record and report incidents, maintaining accurate and timely logs.
• Respond promptly to radio communications and security-related enquiries.
• Carry out services such as alarm response, and ad hoc mobile support duties.
• Build familiarity with your patrol area to identify unusual or suspicious behaviour.

Requirements

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (mandatory).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly reliable and able to work unsupervised.
• Clean and valid UK driver’s licence.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm, professional, and focused under pressure.
• Physically fit and comfortable being on patrol outdoors for extended periods.
• Smart appearance and confident demeanour.

Additional Information

• This role operates on a rolling contract with the option to take on as many nightly shifts as preferred.
• Preference given to applicants with a wrapped, high-visibility security vehicle. If not, you must be open to having your vehicle wrapped by us.
• Patrol area will be concentrated in Southwest London residential neighbourhoods.
