Security Steward

Pay – £14-£18 per hour

Hans Global Security Group is recruiting Security Stewards to join our professional team for a major upcoming event. This is a front-line role helping to ensure the safety, comfort, and smooth experience of all guests and VIPs in a busy, high-profile environment.

We are seeking professional stewards for an upcoming temporary assignment supporting high-profile clients. This is a dynamic opportunity to be part of a leading international security provider, delivering world-class security services at a major event.

You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle potentially challenging situations with tact and professionalism.

We are recruiting security stewards (£14 per hour) and team leaders (£18 per hour).

To apply you need a CV and valid SIA Door Supervisor License.

Role Responsibilities

• Access control, patrolling, door supervision, various security roles
• Provide a visible, welcoming presence to guests
• Offer directions, assistance, and customer service where needed
• Respond to incidents and escalate to security teams if appropriate
• Ensure adherence to safety and emergency protocols
• Work collaboratively with team leaders and control rooms

Requirements

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor License (mandatory)
• A calm, confident and helpful manner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability, punctuality and strong team ethic
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to deal with challenging situations with quick thinking and professionalism
• Experience in public-facing roles or events (desirable but not essential)
