Job Title: Event Security Officer – High-End Venues (Central & Greater London)
Locations: The Design Museum, BAFTA 195 Piccadilly, Forty Hall Enfield, 180 Strand, and other premium sites
Employment Type: PAYE – Casual Contract (Part-Time/Flexible Shifts)
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (dependant on experience)
Job Specification
We are looking for experienced and professional Event Security Officers to join our team across a portfolio of high-end venues and events in Central London and surrounding areas. This is a PAYE role only (no self-employed officers).
You must have:
Excellent spoken and written English – this is non-negotiable
Your own black corporate uniform – black suit, black tie, white shirt, and polished black dress shoes
A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
A high standard of personal presentation and professionalism
Role Overview
You will be deployed at prestigious sites including BAFTA 195, The Design Museum, 180 Strand, Forty Hall, and more. This is a customer service-led security role, ideal for officers who can represent premium venues with confidence, composure, and approachability.
You will be responsible for the safety of guests, staff, and high-value assets, often operating as the first point of contact for customers. Your ability to blend into the environment, while maintaining a strong security presence, is key.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver professional, proactive front-of-house security
Provide a warm and courteous welcome to guests and venue staff
Monitor access control and secure designated areas – particularly those housing high-value stock or with high footfall
Observe and report incidents or issues efficiently and accurately
Support the smooth running of events with a calm, service-focused approach
Remain discreet and responsive in dynamic public environments
Ideal Candidate Profile
Fluent, articulate, and confident communicator
Friendly and service-minded with excellent situational awareness
Comfortable working in customer-facing, high-end hospitality environments
Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
Able to adapt quickly to different settings and guest demographics
Desirable (not essential)
First Aid at Work certification
Experience working in museums, private events, cultural venues or high-net-worth environments
