This role requires a proactive and professional individual who can work effectively as part of a team to uphold the highest standards of safety and security at a wide range of venues, premises, and outdoor event spaces.

Role Responsibilities

• Proactive Safety & Security: Proactively ensure the safety and security of all guests, performers, and colleagues, whilst providing a friendly and approachable point of contact.
• Teamwork & Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with event organisers, venue staff, and other security personnel to ensure a seamless and safe event.
• Access Control: Screen guests upon entry, enforce event policies, and manage ticket or pass-holder access to ensure a secure and appropriate environment.
• Conduct Searches: Conduct security searches in accordance with established event policies, ensuring all procedures are carried out with professionalism and respect.
• Crowd Management: Control the flow of guests and crowds safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements and capacity levels.
• Active Patrols: Conduct active patrols of the event space, identifying and addressing potential hazards or security issues.
• Conflict Resolution: De-escalate potential conflicts with diplomacy and composure, prioritising guest safety and well-being. Utilise physical intervention when necessary in a reasonable, professional, and safe manner.
• First Aid Support: Provide first aid as and when required.
• Guest Assistance: Provide assistance to guests, including directing them to facilities, and helping them leave the event safely.
• Incident Reporting: Accurately and attentively complete incident report logs.
   

Ideal Candidate:

• Hold a valid front line SIA Door Supervisor Licence (Required).
• Demonstrates exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people with diplomacy and tact.
• Maintains a calm, confident, and professional demeanour at all times, even under pressure.
• Possesses high levels of physical fitness, with the ability to stand for extended periods and respond effectively in demanding situations.
• A highly motivated team player with a strong work ethic and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Presents a professional and well-groomed appearance at all times.
