CCTV Operator

Job description:

We are seeking a CCTV Control Room Operator to join our team on a major Government construction project. You will work within a team consisting of guards in a construction environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring your equipment is functioning correctly by carrying out equipment checks, reporting, responding and reacting to any incidents or security issues that may arise, and recording anything suspicious.

Responsibilities:

· Monitoring surveillance equipment (CCTV).

· Maintaining a secure environment by monitoring and responding to active alarms.

· Compile detailed reports on incidents, health and safety issues and completing handovers.

· To record all events and actions monitored from within the control room.

· To work alongside the emergency services and other security providers to ensure high standards.

· Any other reasonable instruction/duty.

· Able to influence and interact with people at all levels of the organisation.

· Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests.

· Self-disciplined, organised and highly capable Proactive, innovative, and practical approach.

· Reliable, conscientious, and cooperative.

· Positive mental attitude and team player.

· CCTV Control room experience (Desirable).

· The ability to work independently or as a team.

· Maintain complete confidentiality in relation to any information you come across whilst on duty.

You must have:

· Minimum 2 years’ experience working as CCTV Operator.

· Valid SIA CCTV licence.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Excellent customer service.

· Previous construction industry desirable.

Role Information:

· Friday-Monday

· Working hours: 7am- 7pm

· Basic DBS required for role.
