SIA Door Supervisor

As a Door Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises. You will be responsible for overseeing the entry and exit of guests, ensuring compliance with licensing laws, and providing a welcoming environment while effectively managing any potential risks. Your vigilance and professionalism will contribute significantly to the overall experience of our patrons.

Duties

• Monitor and control access to the venue, ensuring that only authorised individuals enter.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity or breaches of security.
• Utilise CCTV systems to monitor live feeds and review footage as necessary for incident investigation.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property.
• Respond promptly to incidents, providing first aid when required and liaising with emergency services as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, attendance, and any actions taken during your shift.
• Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing laws.

Skills

• Strong surveillance skills with the ability to remain alert and observant at all times.
• Experience in loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
• Proficiency in operating CCTV equipment and understanding its importance in security management.
• First aid certification is essential; additional training in conflict resolution would be beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with team members and guests.
