Security Officer

A Security Officer will ensure exemplary standards of security and customer service are provided to the client and visitors to the site at all times. The Security Officer is the public face of the security team and should act with professionalism at all times, a can-do attitude is essential in this highly influential role. 

Job detail: 

• Must be able to be available to work both days and nights and some weekends when needed.
• Patrolling both internal and external areas
• Locking and unlocking premises
• Manning the control room (SIA PSCCTV holder only)
• Helping visitors and customers
• Providing a visual deterrent 

Person specification:

• Valid SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor Licence
• Able to provide 5 year checkable work history for screening to BS5758
• Valid SIA PSCCTV Licence
• Well presented
• Articulate 
• Demonstrate good customer skills
• Patrolling internal & external areas using patrol monitoring readers, reporting security issues, health and safety issues, and defects
