Average 48 hours per week working Monday - Sunday on a roster, 4 days 4 off 4 nights 4 off.

Day shift 06:00 - 18:00.

Night shift 18:00 - 06:00

 

 

CCTV License and First Aid certificate would be an advantage.

Training will be given.

 

Role Requirements:

We are seeking applications from experienced Security Officers / Receptionist who hold an SIA, Security, DS or CP licenses and computer literate, to work at our key client’s assignment in Chester. (Encirc)

Successful candidates will be provided with uniform and relevant site training for any specific tasks they are given. They will carry our any reasonable requests made by Senior Managers or our Client, as well as proving any assistance required to members of staff and colleagues.

Successful candidate will be required to comply with the ‘Assignment Instructions’ to provide a safe and secure environment. They must show a high visibility security presence, but also have a warm friendly welcoming manner to all who attend the site.

Specific Duties

Successful candidates will be required to - 

• Communicate clearly in English, both verbal and written while working at the reception desk
• Manage access across the site
• Work on their own or as part of a team
• Comply with directions/instructions from site supervisors/managers
• Work inside buildings or outside – Patrolling.
• Provide site visitors with advice, guidance and information, answering any questions and queries
• Control HGV access and egress
• Assist in premises evacuations during an emergency, ensuring the safety of all
• Report faults, defects and any issues of concern to the relevant management
• Comply with Assignment Instructions and Health and Safety policy
• Always arrive for shifts on time, booking on duty in the required manner

To be suitable for this role you must meet all of the following criteria:

• Be smart and well presented at all times ensuring footwear is polished and clothes are smart
• Have a SIA Security, DS or CP licence (CCTV licences and First Aid certificates would be an advantage)
• Be polite, helpful and diligent, with a ‘can do’ ethos
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Be able to provide the highest standard in customer service
• Have previous experience in the customer service / security industry
• Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations
• Be able to work without supervision and also as a member of a team
• Have a full five- year checkable work history and current valid passport or full birth certificate.
