Security CCTV Operator

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Security CCTV Operator, who will work at our client’s prestigious site in Lichfield – WS13.

Our Security Officers are required to comply with the ‘Assignment Instructions’ to provide a safe and secure environment. They must show a high visibility security presence, but also have a warm friendly welcoming manner to all who attend the site.
They will be expected to undertake a collection of security duties, including control access and egress of contractors and visitors.

The security officer is responsible for the protection of our client’s premises from criminal activity and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all those within by protecting them from verbal and physical abuse

We require Officers to be SIA licenced - CCTV & Door Supervisor

Key Duties:

• To be active on site at the shift start time, complying with ‘Assignment Instructions’
• Demonstrates quality customer service, has the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Escalates any issues of concern or risk to the relevant management. 
• Completes an entry for each day, documents license declaration, records breaks and all relevant daily operational information.
• Be focused and alert, seeks to identify potential risks and takes action to mitigate any threat.
• To be point of contact for all emergency situations
• Foot Patrols 
• Assisting tenants upon request
• Provide a physical presence
• Monitor CCTV 
• Carrying out daily check reports
• The ability to diffuse situations.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in working in a Control Room Environment
• SIA Licence (Door Supervision) 
• SIA Licence CCTV – essential
• Must have a good command of English
• Excellent level of customer service
• Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
• Must have five years of checkable work history
• Must have good PC and organisational skills (Word, Excel, Outlook etc)
• Excellent interaction skills at various levels
• Practical and logical approach to problem solving
• Team play, proactive and professional approach to Security
• Able to operate under pressure
