Gatehouse Security Officer

Salary: £31,980 (£10.25 per hour. This is based on a shift pattern Monday - Friday)

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday night shifts, 06:00 - 18:00

Main responsibilities:

• Monitor surveillance equipment (Pending Install), inspect Site perimeter and monitor access gate for unauthorised attempts to enter
• Report loss and damage to our clients on site control room
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Take effective action in emergency and co-operate with relevant services
• Enforce all relevant health and safety requirements
• Carry out accurate notes for reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork, this may include details of incidents that occur whilst on duty
• Carry out any other duties of a reasonable request by the client
• A visual deterrent to theft, damage and other illegal activities by proactively patrolling as well as securing the property when required

Person Specification:

• Be highly motivated
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Have an excellent command of the English language
• Have the ability to present themselves in an extremely professional manner
• Have the highest standards of customer care skills
• Be a team player and very customer orientated
