Store Detective

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Retail Store Detective to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd, working at various supermarkets in the Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Stoke on Trent and Crewe areas.

Applicants must be flexible with location of work and working hours.

Hours: On average 40 hours per week. 5 days over 7 (Various times as per store requirements. All shifts 8 hours paid. 1 hour Lunch unpaid per day)
 

Pay rate: £11.19 per hour. 

Person specification: To be considered, you will need:

• Must have previous loss prevention and/or retail security experience
• Must hold a valid Frontline Security Guarding, Door Supervision or Close Protection SIA licence / Own transport
• Clear communication both written and verbal
• Punctuality and ability to think on your feet
• Reliability with excellent time-management skills
• Security systems knowledge
• Must be able to work with a store team or independently
• Ability to provide a fully comprehensive 5 year work/education history
• CCTV license would be an advantage
• Must have your own transport and a valid driving licence   

Responsibilities: Security will be required to:

• Prevent, detect and investigate theft and / or malpractice
• Complete stock loss and civil recovery documentation
• Undertake covert patrols and inspections in accordance with Assignment Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and Premises 
• Ensuring all security requirements are met in line with site assignment instructions;
• Dealing with site staff and visitors in a professional manner;
• Assisting any conflict resolution;
• Completing any necessary paperwork and reporting’
