Static Security Officer- Cirencester

Job Purpose 

Static security guards required for a construction site in the Cirencester GL7 area. Day and night shift cover with full time and part-time work available. Good working conditions and package available to the right applicants.

Communication, a good level of spoken English, professional demeanour, skills like report writing, operating PC, logging E-reports, customer service and conflict management will be an important part of your role. Experience working in construction, events, hospitality and leisure would be ideal, although not essential. Physically fit to carry out foot patrols. SIA registered applicants essential and must already hold a current license. Ideally vetted to BS 7858. Driving licence essential.

Job Overview 

In this role, you will be expected to maintain an excellent level of customer service and conduct hourly patrols whilest being vigilant in the prevention of any security breaches as well ensuring the safety of people, premises and property. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor, patrol and secure the premises
• Ensure buildings and visitors are safe
• Assist in all emergency incidents
• Ensure all occurrences/incidents within your duty are recorded in full 

Requirments 

• A valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor licence 
• 5-year work/education record
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent administration skills
• Must be punctual with excellent time-management skills
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Physical fitness and endurance 
• Good report writing skills
• Conflict management aware
• High level of Customer Care Awareness
• I.T literacy
