Corporate Security Officer

CIS Security has an exciting opportunity available for a Corporate Security Officer who will be an ambassador to represent CIS Security and will demonstrate and deliver high-quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.

This site is a new public space that’s destined to completely revive the Paddington area, both above and below ground, with a mix of shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars. Visitors to the rooftop restaurant can dine, relax and enjoy 270-degree panoramic vistas of Hyde Park, Westminster, and the City. 

Job Role / Requirements:

• SIA Licence required
• 5* Corporate Security, Concierge or Front of House experience for at least 1 year an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service at all times
• Must have an excellent command of English Language & Good IT Skills
• Reliable, Responsible, and Punctual
• A friendly, professional, courteous, and outgoing character
• To take pride in your appearance at all times, ensuring immaculate presentation
• Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on-site.
• First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence are desirable

• Deliver high-quality guarding and customer service to clients and service users
• Work effectively in both team and independent settings, using initiative and proactive thinking
• Handle confrontational situations calmly and professionally under pressure
• Physically fit for internal and external patrols, able to stand and walk during shifts
• Proficient in writing incident and shift reports
• Portray a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor with appropriate body language
• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and staff, meeting or exceeding their expectations
• Possess IT skills and knowledge of varied Access Control and CCTV systems/platforms
• Perform duties such as building opening & closing procedures, patrolling, reception, access control, answering calls, and emergency procedures
• Maintain a smart appearance reflecting the company's standards
• Confidently capable of undertaking all specific duties at 100% capacity
• Provide all necessary documentation and vetting information as requested.
