Security Officer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Professional to join our team at Gallowglass Security. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property. This is a full-time position with a contract starting on the 20th of December.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and property by patrolling the premises regularly.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to any suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Conduct regular inspections of the hotel premises to identify potential security risks and take appropriate preventive measures.
- Respond promptly to any security incidents, emergencies, or guest complaints, and take necessary actions to resolve them effectively.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless and secure guest experience.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with any security-related concerns or inquiries.

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of security procedures, protocols, and emergency response techniques.
- Excellent observation and problem-solving skills to identify and address potential security threats.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests, staff, and external authorities.
- Valid security license
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
