Are you looking for a step up in your security career? Are you ready for a new challenge within Events security?
We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Events Team here at Wilson James. 2022 sees an action-packed summer ahead so there is guaranteed hours of work. As part of our events team you will be working on many different events across the summertime, these include major sporting events with one based over in South West London and the other is the Commonwealth Games which will be held in East London. Working as part of the events team you will also have the chance to work at film premieres, music events and other locations across London whenever there is a large event on. We are also currently working with one of the largest Exhibition Centres in Europe. This particular site wants to be the “home” of events across the world.
As an Events Security Officer, you will be required to offer the highest level of customer service and have the desire to go “the extra mile” when assisting the general public with any queries they may have. We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible people who have a good baseline knowledge of counter-terrorism and relevant security experience.

Main Responsibilities
- To act as a deterrent to unwanted visitors to the events.
- To monitor areas of the event to mitigate theft and anti-social behaviour.
- To lead on incidents if required and to report any suspicious behaviour.
- To monitor the event space for suspicious behaviour/suspect packages.
Essential skills
- SIA - DS licence
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
- Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
