Estate Security Officer

Job Purpose

The purpose is to develop and maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property 

Job Overview 

Estate Security Officers provide a visible and efficient deterrent to prevent property damage and theft.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that the premises are always safe and secure
• Responsible for dealing with security issues, monitoring CCTV cameras
• Conduct foot patrols of the property, and correctly escalate security issues

Requirments 

• A valid SIA licence - CCTV Licence 
• Excellent communication skills and be polite and professional
• Have an understanding of security systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms
• Be alert and on the lookout for potential threats in and around the building
• Able to read and write coherent sentences to construct a legible report.
• Be able to prioritise workloads and be flexible in the approach to varied tasks
