Resilience Security Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and flexible Resilience Security Officer to join our team. 

As a Resilience Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing security services at various sites including hotels, tourist attractions, events, corporate buildings, and more. 

The role involves working ad hoc hours, which may vary week to week, and may include both day and night shifts. You must be prepared to work in indoor or outdoor environments, in front or back of house roles, as per the requirements of each site. 

Excellent customer service skills, professionalism, and the ability to deescalate situations are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide security services at various sites as assigned, including hotels, tourist attractions, events, corporate buildings, etc.
• Work flexible hours, including ad hoc shifts, which may vary week to week.
• Perform security patrols, monitor surveillance equipment, and enforce site rules and regulations.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies promptly and appropriately, including the ability to deescalate situations when necessary.
• Complete accurate reports and documentation as required.
• Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other security personnel and site staff.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred, but not essential.
• Must possess a valid SIA Security Guard license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• A professional and courteous manner, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Willingness to work at various sites and adapt to different environments.

Hourly Pay: Hourly pay rates vary depending on the site, typically ranging between £11.44 - £13.51 (some offer even higher!). 

All payments are on PAYE basis.
