Festival Security Team Leader

RESPONSIBILTIES

• Help to manage a team of experienced SIA Licensed staff and stewards to ensure that they consistently uphold the highest standards of customer service and safety.
• Support effective communication between the company, the client, and the team to ensure all information is cascaded effectively.
• Collaborate with your team and the client to ensure compliance with licensing regulations and event-specific policies.
• Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and property.
• Ensure that your team conduct all of their duties diligently and in accordance with relevant SIA regulations.
• Proactively check on your team’s welfare and work closely with them to ensure a smooth operation.
• Maintain constant vigilance to identify potential threats, unauthorised entry, or suspicious behaviour, and take the necessary actions to address them.
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
• Prevent and manage conflicts or disturbances effectively, ensuring a calm and safe atmosphere.
• Report incidents and write detailed incident reports as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor License.
• Previous experience in both private security and supervisory roles.
• Level 3 Certificate in Spectator Safety Supervision would be beneficial.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £15-£16 per hour (based on experience)
