Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Industrial Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our industrial facility. The primary responsibility of the Industrial Security Officer is to protect employees, visitors, and company assets by enforcing security protocols, monitoring surveillance systems, and implementing proactive security measures. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in industrial security practices, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.

Role requirements:

• Must hold a valid SIA Frontline License.
• 5 year checkable work/career history. All applicants will be vetted in line with industry standard BS7858
• Must have a valid UK Drivers License and own car for commute.
  
  Duties include:
• Booking vehicles on and off site and maintaining accurate records of routes and vehicle movement’s
• Control access and egress of vehicles to site
• Control staff access and egress, maintaining accurate logs of contractors, visitors and agency staff
• Monitoring of access control and CCTV system to maintain a secure facility
• Respond to emergencies, following correct procedures
• Complete searches of vehicles  to ensure compliance with site security policies to reduce theft
• Meet and greet visitors and manage the gatehouse environment

• Strong written, verbal communication and organisational skills are essential
• Must be flexible and reliable
• Ability to accurately record incidents as they occur
• A calm demeanour to deal with difficult and conflictive situations
• Have excellent customer service skills and have basic PC literacy
