Description

The ideal candidate will have experience within the security and cleaning industry and the management of a soft service contract. Flexibility a must.

Planning holiday cover and rotas to match the needs of the operation. Manage the recruitment process and colleague performance whilst displaying leadership qualities

Your duties will include;

  • Carry out routine cleaning checks ensuring the standard is consistent to the expected standards on all areas across the site.
  • Drive performance in terms of standards and behaviours across the teams.
  • Operate as part of the team, providing our customers with the required image.
  • Provide a safe and clean environment for the general public and staff.
  • Report any Health & Safety hazards.
  • Monitoring of cleaning machinery and report all maintenance requirements as per the escalation process.
  • Report any impending shortfalls in stock levels.
  • Be aware of risk and compliance during day to day operation.
  • Be aware of the team’s role in the management of events and activities, understand team requirements and assist as appropriate.
  • Maintain positive relations with retailers and assist where appropriate.
  • Work with other teams for the benefit of the site, developing new skills where appropriate.
  • Booking on/off duty using the Westgrove Connect system
  • Maintain records in line with your duty including Westgrove Sphere, all check sheets, incident reports, accident reports
  • Deliver on the Centre’s standards and expectations.
  • Any other duties as directed by your BM and on-site management team.
  • Participation in site emergency procedures.

You must;

  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
  • Maintain communication at all times with your colleagues using site specific communication methods.
  • Maintain and develop working relationships, with Westgrove partners, managers, colleagues, business manager, head office support
  • Be responsible for H&S within your area of activity
  • Have a valid DS licence and First Aid certificate
  • Be responsible for embedding a risk aware culture at site level
