Security Officer

[Please note this is a High Profile Contract and you will be vetted to the highest standard and will need to be SC cleared. For this you need to be a British Citizen or hold dual British nationality. Before applying please ensure you will be able to pass the vetting process.]

Shift Pattern - exact shift pattern to be confirmed at interview.

• Days, Nights, Weekends and Weekdays
• 12 hour shifts

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Control entry points to the site and monitor visitor and vehicle traffic. Verifying ID's of anyone entering the site.
• Monitoring security alarm and CCTV.
• Reporting incidents, accidents and alarm activation to the control room.
• Liaising with the control room staff
• Conducting hourly patrols
• Conducting Routine checks
• Assisting management team with any security/safety related issues.
• Maintaining all security related documents/ records
• Carrying out random searches of personal baggage or vehicles entering/leaving the premises

Requirements:

• MUST HOLD A VALID SIA FRONT LINE LICENSE
• THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO ACHIEVE AN SC SECURITY CLEARANCE FOR THIS ROLE.
• MUST COMPLETE AND PASS THE ENGLISH AND NUMERACY TEST PROVIDED AFTER APPLYING
• AT LEAST 1 YEAR SECURITY EXPERIENCE (PREFERRED).

Salary: £12.77 per hour
