Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Hammersmith
Shifts: Monday to Friday 09.00 – 18.00
Annual Salary: £14.09 ph
Average Weekly Hours: 45

We are currently looking for people to work in Reception roles in Central London
Purpose of the role:
Provide a meet and greet service to all staff and visitors to our building
Anticipate and recognise ways to provide excellent customer service to improve the experience throughout the site
Recognise where you can 'add value' to your role during every interaction
To provide a courteous and welcoming service when dealing with visitors or staff
To provide a strong visible presence on site to deter suspicious activity and behaviour
To be alert and to recognise potential suspicious activity and behaviour and be ready to take immediate action to deal with emergency situations
To ensure all areas remains clean and tidy and identify issues that may impact on the clients image as soon as they arise
Maintaining the highest standards of security whilst maintaining professionalism
Management and ownership of issuing keys
Patrolling of the site, taking ownership of any defects or issues and resolving accordingly
Manage access and egress in and around the site, ensuring correct credentials and permits are in place
Operation and monitoring of security systems including access control/CCTV etc…
Responding to calls from tenants ensuring service levels are provided to a high standard
Working closely with other service providers and the local community including the police
Reporting and escalation of H&S issues
Responsibilities:
Protect company property and assets from criminal activity and health and safety hazards. Monitor and report any rule violations like smoking in restricted areas at a work. Report promptly all suspicious activity, persons, and packages etc.
Provide Front of House, Reception services. Check and screen all people entering the premises, staff, visitors, contractors, couriers etc. Allow only authorised persons to enter the premises.
Check and inspect building premises, and report leakages, fire hazards, lights-out, washrooms in disrepair and other risk factors. Inspect and verify equipment and other machinery in your care is in good condition and working order.
Take part in evacuation drills, respond correctly to emergency situations.
