Security Guard – Bury, Manchester

Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
Pay Rate: £14.62 per hour
Job Type: Long-Term Opportunity

We are currently recruiting an experienced and professional Security Guard to join a major project based in Bury, Manchester.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, monitoring site activity, controlling access, and ensuring all site security procedures are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring and securing the site

Controlling access and checking all personnel and visitors

Carrying out regular patrols and security checks

Reporting any incidents, suspicious activity or security concerns

Maintaining accurate site and security records

Following all site health, safety and security procedures

Representing the company in a professional manner at all times

Essential Requirements

Applicants must hold the following:

A valid Door Supervisor SIA License, obtained at least three months prior to the site start date

First Aid at Work qualification

We will provide the following training

EUSR National Water Hygiene Card

EUSR SHEA Water qualification

A valid DBS check, obtained within one week prior to starting on site and renewed every 6 months

Willingness to complete the required Project Induction, including a Drug & Alcohol test

Training in GDPR regulations

Defibrillator training
