Location: Hull, East Yorkshire
Salary: From £42,000 per annum
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off – 12-hour night shifts
Private Residential Security Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable, professional and discreet Security Officer to join the onsite security team at a private residence in Hull, East Yorkshire.
This is a permanent 4 on / 4 off night-shift position, working 12-hour shifts and providing security, safety and peace of mind for the residents and the estate.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a professional and discreet security presence throughout the property and grounds.
Key responsibilities will include:
Conducting regular internal and external patrols of the property and grounds
Monitoring CCTV and electronic security systems
Responding appropriately to alarms and security incidents
Monitoring authorised visitors, contractors and deliveries
Maintaining accurate security logs and incident reports
Identifying and reporting unusual or suspicious activity
Completing detailed shift handovers
Liaising professionally with residents, household staff, contractors and visitors
Following established security procedures and protocols
Supporting colleagues during incidents and emergencies
Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding the client, residence and household
The role requires excellent attention to detail, situational awareness, sound judgement and the ability to remain calm, vigilant and professional throughout each shift.
The successful candidate will be expected to work independently when required, make logical decisions and use technology and digital security systems confidently.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous professional security experience is desirable but not essential.
We welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in:
Private or residential security
Estate security
Corporate security
Luxury hospitality
Customer service
Military or police service
Other roles involving responsibility, trust and sound decision-making
Experience within private residential security, estate security or another high-value environment would be advantageous.

SIA Licence
An SIA licence is not required for this position.
Full role-specific training will be provided for the successful candidate.
Working Pattern
4 days on / 4 days off – permanent night shifts.
The role involves 12-hour night shifts and requires the successful candidate to remain alert, professional and vigilant throughout each shift.
Due to the rural location and night-shift working pattern, applicants must have their own reliable means of travelling to and from work.
