About the role
QualHub is looking for an experienced Internal Quality Assurer to support the quality of SIA licence-linked qualifications delivered across our training network.
We oversee approximately 40 courses each week and work with around 100 trainers, as well as invigilators and training centres across the UK.
This is a practical, field-based role. You will help maintain high standards, identify areas for improvement and provide constructive support to trainers and centres.
What you will do
- Conduct quality assurance visits across the UK.
- Observe trainers delivering SIA licence-linked qualifications.
- Review the quality of training, assessment and invigilation.
- Provide clear and constructive feedback.
- Produce accurate, evidence-based IQA reports.
- Identify good practice, non-compliance and areas for improvement.
- Monitor agreed actions and complete follow-up visits.
- Maintain accurate records using QualHub's digital systems.
- Work closely with QualHub's directors and Quality and Compliance team.
What we are looking for
Essential
- A recognised IQA qualification.
- Experience of internal quality assurance within regulated qualifications.
- A strong understanding of assessment and quality assurance.
- Confidence in observing trainers and providing developmental feedback.
- Strong written communication and report-writing skills.
- Good organisation and the ability to manage a programme of visits.
- Confidence using digital systems and electronic records.
- The ability to work independently.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to undertake regular UK-wide travel.
Desirable
- Experience of SIA licence-linked qualifications.
- Experience within the private security training sector.
Working pattern and travel
This is a full-time role working five days per week. Working days will be scheduled flexibly according to course and quality assurance requirements.
Regular UK-wide travel and physical visits are fundamental parts of the role.
Travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with agreed mileage and travel arrangements.
