Looking for a security company in North Devon? Then we are here to help. Barum Friend Security Ltd has been established since 1997. In that time, we have helped our customers throughout North Devon keep their properties safe. In 1992, our company was set up by managing director Stephen Cooper and it was named Barum Security Services Ltd. Previously, Stephen had been working for a national security company where he was the operations manager for Wales.

In 1997, the company merged with the fire and alarms side of P.F Friend Ltd to become Barum Friend Security Ltd. We were also joined by Darren Smallridge, who worked as an engineer for P.F Friend Ltd. He was originally trained and qualified as an electrician, before specialising in installing fire and burglar alarm systems. Today, Darren is our director and manages the alarm side of the business.
